    The GPS needs a good sky view.   Puck antennas are generally weather proof, but their thin, tasty cables are
    prone to destruction by rodents.  One approach is to place the GPS on the underside of the lid of a larger
    plastic box which might contain the SG in its pelican case and a battery.
