Powering your SensorGnomeEdit

Always power up your SensorGnome before connecting to your laptop via the USB cable.  Always disconnect the USB cable from your laptop before cutting power to your SensorGnome.  Your SensorGnome does not have an 'off' button.  Once you have disconnected the USB cable from your laptop, simply cut power to the SensorGnome by unplugging the male DC plug from the female socket of the Y cable.

When powering a SensorGnome from an AC outlet, first plug the power adapter into the outlet and then insert the male DC plug into the female socket of the Y cable.

When running a SensorGnome off solar power (i.e. DC power), first secure the positive/negative wires coming from the charge controller to the positive/negative terminals of the barrier block and then insert the male DC plug coming from the DC/DC voltage converter into the female socket of the Y cable.

You're now ready to connect to your SensorGnome!
